How it works: The Commission Process
Step 1 - Inquire
Submit a short message about the size, theme, color and desired timeframe for your commission. Don't know those yet? No worries, Esther will contact you shortly and can even consult you on choosing the perfect fit for your space.
Step 2 - Consultation & Agreement
Before committing to the commission, Esther will request everything she needs from you to create the perfect piece for your space. She will provide a clear vision for how the painting will turn out based on your inspiration.
Step 3 - Creation & Finalization
Esther will update you frequently during the creation of your painting. You will also be able to make two revisions free of charge before approving the final version which will then be shipped to your home.

How long does a commission take?
The timeframe for a commission varies depending on the size and subject matter. Currently, Esther's turnaround time is about 6-8 weeks. If there's a deadline to meet, paintings can be finished faster at an additional fee.
Can I make changes?
Yes, a commission is a personal piece created from your initial inspiration. Esther will take all of your input in mind before starting the piece. She will send you frequent updates and progress pictures. Once the piece is finished, 2 final revisions can be made without extra charges.
What sizes are available?
The minimum size for a commission piece is 30x30 inches / 75x75 cm. Currently, the maximum size is 60x60 inches / 150x150 cm. For custom sizes beyond maximum size, please email hello@estherfranchuk.com to explore further options.
How will the commission be shipped?
Commission pieces are securely packaged and shipped stretched worldwide with a complimentary wooden floater frame.
Pricing
Commission pieces are priced at $1.5 per square inch. The minimum size for a custom painting is 30x40 inches, priced at $1,800 including a wooden floater frame and free international shipping.
