This painting stands for me as a reminder to be grounded and to not be afraid of growth and change at the same time.

It was inspired by how trees grow up towards the sun and the sky, spreading their branches, sheltering the birds, providing them a home for their nests.

At the same time though, they reach to the depth of the earth, grow roots and stand firm.

I keep thinking about how deep and impactful this image is and what we can learn from it.

I truly believe that in order to grow to higher places and to make an impact, we have to know our true self and our identity.

We need to have roots.
